@Amos, of course I remember you! That's so great that you still feel inspired to travel more one day. It sounds like your experience in N. Carolina has been really interesting. Are you stationed there for work?

I'm at home (in Boston) now and really enjoying being back. I'm still getting settled and figuring out where I want to live and find work and all that though. I can't believe we're on the same side of the world again! Good to hear from you.

I am Amos, who had dinner with you, first time we met was on hot spring with Tiff and robyn.

I has been North Carolina for 3 months, Sep is my last month on here. After I become a true "Foreigner", I saw a lot, and though a lot, lots of thing I never saw and though. I think I have tourist eyes now.

I decided to do one thing after I back home -- I will go to climb Mt.Yu.

Finally, I am a soldier, and I love my country, so I couldn't give up my job. But I promise I will find chances to discover the world, hope one day, I can tell you, I am a real "Traveller".

the majority of the people i happened to be traveling with were muslim, but i think you're right...islam and catholicism are probably about the same. buddhism is definitely number one by far, and my friend said almost all tamils are hindu.

i really enjoyed this post, so glad your 2nd day in sri lanka was better than the 1st. i have to say, i was quite concerned for you.

i've been talking to this guy from Sri Lanka and i happened to ask about religion there. he told me that the majority of people there are catholic (or denomination of christianity) or buddhist but not so much muslim.

yay, you've updated!
i've never been to taipei but i have been to hong kong, it's beautiful there and the food is good. i can't say i was very impressed with their dimsum, i like it better here in the US.

my fave asian city food trap is bangkok tho, i mean i lived there for 3 years and i still dream about the street food there.

@Dreamer I never made it to Back Bay Yoga but heard only great things about that place. I practiced at Prana Power Yoga in Cambridge, which I completely fell in love with. I totally replaced my last boyfriend with a yoga studio. Good luck in Seoul!
